From August, Tram No. 2 Will Once Again Run to Tallinn Airport
Starting 1 August, tram line T2 once again provides a direct connection between Tallinn’s Old City Harbour (Vanasadam) and Tallinn Airport, making travel easier and more convenient for both ferry and air passengers. After a three-year interruption due to the construction of the Old City Harbour tram line and the Rail Baltica Ülemiste terminal, the airport tram service has now been fully restored.
The T2 tram now operates on the route Kopli – Vanasadam – Tallinn Airport, stopping at Vanasadam, just a short walk from both the A- and D-terminals. Passengers can travel directly to the city centre, the Central Bus Station, Ülemiste City, and Tallinn Airport without changing trams.
The airport is served by two tram lines:
T2: Kopli – Vanasadam – Tallinn Airport
T4: Tondi – Tallinn Airport
Trams operate at approximately 10-minute intervals, offering a fast, affordable, and environmentally friendly way to travel between Tallinn’s key transport hubs.
